Himachal Pradesh is situated in the northern region in the heart of the western Himalayas. The word Himachal means the land of the snows. This state is bordered by Jammu and Kashmir in the north, Uttar Pradesh in the south-east, China in the east, Haryana in the south and Punjab in the west and south-west. Shimla, a beautiful hill station is the state capital of the Himachal Pradesh and was the summer capital of the British Empire in India. It is veiled from the plains by the Shivalik range of mountains. The physiographic divisions from south to north are the outer Himalayas or the Shivaliks, the lesser Himalayas or the central zone and the great Himalayan and Zanskar or the northern zone. The state of Himachal Pradesh is divided into twelve districts, which are Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Kinnaur, Kullu, Lahual Spiti, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan and Una. It abounds in exotic valleys, green hill slopes, snow-capped peaks and gushing rivers and streams.

Day 01 :
Leave Mumbai by Train No 12935 Paschim Express at 11.25 Hrs |Leave Pune by Train No 22685 at 09:10 Hrs for Chandigarh.

Train No 12935 reached Chandigarh at 15.35 Hrs. & Train No 22685 reached at 15.50 Hrs. stay at Chandigarh.

Day 03:
After breakfast Chandigarh sightseeing: Sukhna Lake, Pinjore garden, Rock garden, Lunch & leave for Shimla & stay at hotel. (120 Km/4 hrs)

After breakfast leave for Kufri Himalayan Zoo, back to hotel, lunch & visit famous mall road & stay at Shimla.

Leave Shimla for Manali via Kullu (Enroute visit Beas river, Shawl factory) & stay at Manali. (260 Km/ 8 hrs)

Visit Snow point and come back to hotel at noon, after free time for relax, stay at Manali.

After breakfast leave for Manali local sightseeing - Hidimba temple, Buddhist monastery, evening free time for shopping & stay at Manali.

Early morning leave for Dharamshala, Enroute lunch & Stay at Dharamshala. (244 Km/ 8 hrs)

Morning leave for Amritsar, en-route lunch and visit Wagha border at evening. Stay at Amritsar. (258km/5hrs)

After breakfast visit local sightseeing- Golden Temple and Jalianwala Baugh Post lunch free time for shopping. Leave Amritsar by Train No 12904 Golden Temple at 18:55 Hrs.

- Train: Before 120 days of prior departure; guest can book train tickets at own. Please use www.irctc.co.in for your specific suitable choice. i.e. lower berth, all berth in same bogie, nearby berths, concessions. We can’t give any surety about train and it’s services.
